This training is a Peer Recovery Specialist Domain training which highlights the knowledge, skills and abilities associated with implementation of the job task related to the Mentoring/Education domain. The training includes recognizing the characteristics of an effective role model, active listing skills, how to recognize when self-care is needed and the various forms of self-care, understanding the importance of maintaining the Peer relationship, Peer navigation, how to share experiences and conflict resolution techniques.
